Hey friend,
I’m writing this from my favorite little coffee shop.
The music is soft in the background, and a group of women at the next table are catching up, laughing so hard it makes me smile.
It’s funny how a moment like this can stir up so many memories.

I found myself missing the old me—the one who used to laugh with friends like that. The one who had a group of people to talk to, to share stories with, to feel safe around.
But somewhere along the way, things changed.
I realized some of the friends I thought would always be there… weren’t really who I thought they were.
And when that happened, I closed myself off.
I told myself it was safer to keep people at arm’s length. That way, I couldn’t get hurt.
But the truth is… I miss it. I miss the feeling of real, raw conversations.
The kind where you can just be, without fear of being judged.
That’s part of why I started this page.
To create that space.
A space where we can talk openly about dreams and doubts, fears and failures, without feeling like we’re too much.
Growing up, I was always the “weird kid.”
The one who read books during recess.
Terrible at sports. Picked last for teams.
I didn’t have much confidence, and I used to think the girls who bullied me were so secure, so happy with themselves.
Turns out… I was wrong.
It took me years to realize I wasn’t the problem.
All of us go through awkward seasons. We all have cringey, messy moments.
That doesn’t make us weird.
It makes us human.
So if you’re going through a weird life shift right now—
If you’re feeling lonely, or like you’re starting over—
I get it.
Take your time.
Go to your favorite coffee shop.
Read that book you love.
Watch your comfort show for the hundredth time.
Whatever self-care looks like for you… do that.
Your dreams aren’t as far away as they feel.
I’m so glad you’re here.
Until next week—
Keep following your dreams.
I believe in you.
xo,
Katerina
